YAY! It's summer and a perfect time to play tourist in the Nation's Capital. If you're driving around town sightseeing, look for FREE parking spaces at these locations inside the District:
Maine Ave SW Lot. A free parking lot located in the Tidal Basin area of DC.
West Basin Drive. This road contains stretches of free parking, with no meters. It's convenient for the FDR memorial and Jefferson Memorial.
Jefferson Memorial Speaking of the Jefferson Memorial, if you drive around the memorial, you'll see some free parking for vehicles with disabled hangtags.
East Potomac Park / Hains Point. The parking along this long road is also free, although no overnight parking is permitted.
Ohio Drive SW. Between FDR Memorial and the Potomac River, is plenty of free parking with no meters along this drive.

More Free parking, near the 14th Street Bridge, near the George Mason Memorial.
